About me
Since 2023, Jill Dohner has led the development and expansion of the MIFarmLink program. A dedicated advocate for the next generation of farmers, she brings more than a decade of experience as a farm owner. Jill works with agricultural partners across Michigan to connect farmland owners looking to sell or lease land with beginning farmers seeking access, helping protect farmland while supporting resilient farming communities.
She holds a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology and Management from Michigan Technological University and owns Rustic Roots Farm, where she raises honeybees, poultry, and dairy goats while managing an orchard, garden, and greenhouse production. Jill serves on the boards of the Washtenaw County Conservation District and the Michigan Farm Bureau.
