Kaitlyn Lemon, NASA EarthRise Partnerhsips Specialist & Trainer will lead two training sessions at NACD's Summer Meeting. This is the first of two training sessions offered.
This is a four-hour, introductory, in-person training that provides an overview of NASA Earth observation (EO) data products and web tools for supporting agriculture and conservation district needs. This training will address priorities such as water management, land use/land cover change and vegetation health. The training will provide an overview of the data visualization and analysis platforms. Demos and exercises will highlight how to use NASA EO data and tools for evapotranspiration monitoring, water quality, and rangeland biomass estimates. No prior knowledge or experience is required to attend the training. Participants should plan to attend for the entire 4-hour duration of the workshop and bring laptops to participate in provided hands-on exercises.
